What is RampBed?

The RampBed concept was born one morning in 1999 when Gabe P. Jasso woke up in the middle of an eight foot “halfpipe.”  You may be asking yourself, “what the @#$* was he doing sleeping on a skateboard ramp.” Or perhaps you are thinking, “oh yeah, been there, done that.” Regardless of which, the fact still remains that when Gabe awoke, the idea struck: “What kid wouldn’t want a bed that looks like a skate ramp?”

Aside from some sketches and concept art the idea lay dormant until 2001 when Gabe put energy into making it a reality. By 2006 he was ready to roll the product out to the public.

The patented ramp-inspired beds steadily gained popularity. In 2007, the RampBed was claimed as the official bed of extreme action sports.

More than 10 years after inspiration struck, the idea remains: “What kid wouldn’t want a RampBed?”
